Where a name
carries a whole life.
Frei. The German word for freedom. And at the same time, the surname of a woman who has spent forty years teaching others what it feels like to move freely — in the freedom of their own bodies.
Lisa Frei has been teaching Classical Ballet for over forty years. Ballet instills a respect for the body that is rare: no posturing, no quick shortcuts — only the patient, daily engagement with what the body is truly capable of.
More than twenty years ago, the Pilates Reformer entered her life. Not by chance, but as a natural extension: the same precision, the same attention to the body's line — now carried by the spring-loaded intelligence of the Reformer.
Freia — the Norse Goddess
In Norse mythology, Freia is the goddess of beauty, strength, and freedom. She moves with sovereign grace between worlds. Strength and elegance are not opposites in her — they are one and the same. That is Lisa's teaching.

One Belief
Real instruction requires time, attention, and proximity. More than four students in the room makes that impossible.
